Psychology and Psychology Transfer Pathway
The Psychology Transfer Pathway is a solid educational foundation that can lead to a variety of careers that work with people studying the human mind and behavior. The benefits of understanding how people see and process the world around them can improve experiences in a wide variety of careers.
Students learn:
- Introduction to psychology
- Group communication
- Developmental and abnormal psychology
- Unique psychology for aging populations, women and children
- Experiential and scientific lab methods.
Some graduates go directly into the workforce, but most will transfer to a partner Minnesota State university to earn a related bachelor’s degree to pursue more advanced careers in social work, counseling, psychology, etc.
