Careers

Graduating practical nursing students are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Passing this exam demonstrates the competency to work as an LPN.

LPNs provide basic nursing care such as focused assessments, medication administration, patient monitoring and reporting. They discuss health care with patients and report the status of patients to registered nurses and doctors.
